As a follow up to his maiden album, Done, Gbenga Omoolomo Bada is set to release another work.
The talented singer, who is currently promoting a single of the new work dubbed Aristo, said that his aim is to popularise the track and do more corporate shows before the full album is released.
Omoolomo, who started playing music after his secondary school education at Methodist High School, Ilesa, Osun State, is an Afro beat musician, who is using his talent to promote African culture and tradition.
The name Omoolomo, according to him, was given to him by his peers because of his nature.
He started music professionally in 1990 in Ado-Ekiti as a juju musician with the assistance of Taiwo Fajana a.k.a. Taifaj, who taught him how to play the guitar.
With the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti as his role model, he retraced his musical steps and changed his brand of music to Afro beat.
Managed by Amazon Bee Communications, the fast rising artiste will commence a weekly gig at Shina-Jay Restaurant, Ketu, Lagos, very soon.
