Aalesund F.C of Norway and Super Eagles new invitee, Solomon Okoronkwo, has vowed to justify his invitation to play for the Super Eagles during the 27 March Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.

Okoronkwo, who  featured for both the U-20 and U-23 teams under Coach Samson Siasia said the invitation  by the technical crew is an opportunity for him to convince them that he deserves to be part of the team.

The former Gabros International striker hinged his optimism on his experience at the junior national level, saying  he is not scared of the already established players in the squad.

He said that since he had represented the country at youth level, he knows what it takes to break into the first team. “My invitation to the Super Eagles is a call to national service. I want to ensure that my invitation is not a fluke. I’m a professional and I know that by the time the camp opens the coaches would see that I’m in fine form,” Okoronkwo said.
