Several people thought he was mad when they first saw the Toyota Corolla being driven by veteran Nollywood actor, Prince Ademisoye Solomon, on Lagos roads fully branded with Governor Babatunde Fashola’s campaign posters.

Solomon was simply crazy for Fashola and he even quarreled with his wife over his fanaticism for the governor, as he said he had lent his car to Fashola’s campaign until he emerged governor for a second term.

Solomon had featured in so many films some of which dated back to 1986, saying that “ one of the films was titled: Sweet Hostage”. He said the  one titled: Falara, was done by Eddie Ogboma in 1986. “Some other movies  I featured in which were done by Jide Kosoko include Jejelaye, Falling Angels and some other ones which I still do, but I will be producing my own movie soon.

“For now, my priority is to fast and pray for Fashola every day. I am taking this car to the Redeemed Christian Church of |God Camp where I am going to  pray for Fashola because he needs prayers now. Forget every other thing, he still needs prayers and I will do it. It’s either Fashola or no other person in Lagos State,” he said.

Solomon said he just fell in love with Fashola even though he has never had one-on-one contact with him, adding that “a whole lot of things inspired me. First, Fashola is a man I fell in love with, this is a man, when he first came, he was an introvert and many thought he would not be able to give us much, but when he started, it went beyond expectation.

“ Seeing what he has done, I decided that I am going to campaign for him, I don’t care whatever anyone  thinks; this car, I would take it anywhere, I am ready to face anything because he is my idol; he is my mentor and he is my boss and my brother and I am ready, anytime even in the middle of the night, I am ready to go campaigning for Babatunde Raji Fashola,” he said.
