Following the confirmation of King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal a.k.a. K-1 De Ultimate and Afrojuju music creator, Sir Shina Peters, to perform in honour of top music promoter, Tayo Adeolokun a.k.a. Tasman, musicians have started to lobby committee members for a slot.

P.M.Entertainment learnt that the Niyi Akinsiju-led committee has been receiving calls and letters from top musicians who want to be part of the event holding at the Grandeur Event Centre Ikeja, Lagos, on 3 April 2011.

Investigations revealed that before arriving at the invitation of SSP and K-1, members of the committee had a tough time delibrating on the musicians to be chosen.

They were said to have visited the duo who promised that they will not only attend but also perform at the event.

Meanwhile, the committee that parades top rated journalists are currently putting finishing touches to making the event a success.

Akinsiju the publisher of Fortune and Class magazine, told P.M.Entertainment that all is now set for the 50th birthday anniversary of Tasman, which he said, will be a grand event.
