Showbiz Trends learnt that Wizkid was lucky to be alive as he was robbed at gun point that night by armed bandits who went away with his Honda i-VTec car.

The 20-year-old Banky W protege was reportedly riding with his friends, including Wande Coal‘s younger brother, in his Black Honda Accord i-VTEC along Ikorodu Road, Lagos, when the incident happened.

According to a report, Wizkid’s friends were let off by the robbers at the scene of the incident, but the Holla At Ya Boy singer was made to accompany them to the Third Mainland Bridge, where he was dropped off and left stranded.

“They took everything he had on him, including his mobile phones, so he had to trek all the way from Third Mainland Bridge back to the mainland,” a source told thenetng.com, a Lagos based showbiz portal.

The car in question, according to sources, is said to be the controversial Honda believed to have been a gift from his friend and Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike.
