Ikosi-Ejirin Suspends Two Councilors

The legislative arm of Ikosi-Ejirin Local Council Development Area, Lagos state, southwest, Nigeria, has suspended two of its councilors.

The suspended councilors are Mr. Wasiu Lawal and Lateef Adebayo, the Deputy Chief Whip and Minority Leader respectively.

In a statement issued by the Clerk of the House, Mr. Banji S.O., the two councilors were alleged to have engaged in anti-party activities by romancing with the Labour Party.

They were also accused to have threatened the life of the council chairman, Mr. Adetola Oluwaseun Ganiu and Mr. Muyideen Badmus, the Leader of the Legislative arm of the local government, as well as accused them of raising false alarm and causing political disorder and unrest in the community.

The Clerk of the House said their suspension is indefinite.

The 2 councilors suspended were just made the “scape Goat”.The Commisioner for Housin Hon.Dele Onabokun is their head.The supervisory councillor of Agric(Nirudeen Yusuf),Secretary to the local government(Lati Banjo) too are also involved in anti party activism we intession of remaining in part while the use the party resources to demaged the party(ACN).
    The chairman who accused these coucillors is the financier of the group called S.B.J that’s why he’s not been playing a participatory role at the party level.
    I want the party(ACN) Lagos Chapter to scold this local govt and Eredo LCDA as well.
