The first indigenous TV talent hunt show tagged ‘The Next Fuji King’ is set to berth on NTA.
The show packaged by Ideas Quotient International in conjunction with NTA is to discover new talents in the popular and vibrant Fuji music genre.
According to IQI’s Project Manager, Kolawole Solomon, “the Next Fuji King is just one of the projects in the company’s stable. The concept is an effort to further encourage and celebrate the originality of our music, and project it more to the consciousness of our youth. We want them to be proud of our music, against the backdrop of other shows which emphasise foreign music and celebrate foreign music idols.
“The Next Fuji King show is going to feature only Fuji music. We want to discover fresh, hot talents in this music genre and give them the exposure and training that will make them become stars in their own rights, having learned the skills to perfect their unique styles, bringing much flavour and originality to the Fuji music scene.
“We are looking for new and aspiring fuji artistes and enthusiasts who believe they have what it takes to compete for a place among the stars. The star prize is a N3 million, a brand new saloon car, and a one year recording deal with a popular label. The second and third prizes are equally life changing.
