Richie-Richie, a new flick from the stable of Bayo Alawiye’s Vision Eight, is ready and will hit the cinemas soon.

The film, which parades stars like Jide Kosoko, Adebayo Salami, Laide Bakare, Gabriel Afolayan and Madonna Robinson of Project Fame West Africa, is expected to be in the cinemas any moment from now till April.

According to the producer and director, Bayo Alawiye, the block-buster flick will be on home videos after a tour of major cinemas in the country and beyond.

Since he ventured into movie production in 2006, Alawiye has produced and played the lead in a couple of films, including Ija Okan, Ala Mi, Ibare and recently, Demilade, among others.

In Richie-Richie, Richard is a young, rich and outgoing orphan from Plateau State, while Bisi is the daughter of a chief, who is preparing to become a deacon in his church soon.

Bisi becomes pregnant for Richard after a ‘one night stand’ and Chief Williams will not have his dream of becoming a deacon thwarted by this unfortunate event and as such, Richard, a playboy, must marry Bisi in one week, according to the chief.

The enforced honeymoon after the wedding becomes a turning point for both Richard and Bisi and everything connected to them. This, indeed, is a love story from another point of view.
