British Airways has bagged another award for first class design. The Anya Hindmarch washbag, which was introduced by the airline to coincide with the launch of its new First cabin, has won the prestigious Travel Plus Gold award for the Most Innovative Bag Design, and the Bronze award for First Class Unisex Kit.
Designed by Anya Hindmarch and the British Airways in-house design team, and brought to life by Watermark products, the unique Gladstone style bag is trimmed in cream and embellished with the original ‘To Fly, To Serve’ coat of arms which featured on British Airways tailfins between 1984 and 1997. Originally created in BA’s signature navy blue, the latest version of the bag is warm grey and contains a range of products from luxury skincare specialists REN.
