In a chat with P.M. Entertainment, leader of the group, Tunji Iranloye, said the programme is being put together for propagation of some Yoruba culture that seem to have been relegated to the background by civilisation.

He noted that marriage ceremonies, for instance, don’t attract local content like ekun iyawo, as this has been overwhelmed by foreign influence.

Iranloye stated further that local delicacies like eko mimu, eko jije, akara, moin-moin and emu funfun (pure palm wine) will be served at the event slated for Oke Odo Junior High School, Coates Street by Osolake Street, Ebute Meta, Lagos on 25 February, 2011 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
