Suspended FIFA Executive committee Nigerian member Amos Adamu, who faces the body tomorrow in  Zurich is confident he will be cleared by the Appeals Committee over charges of attempted bribery.

Adamu was handed a three-year suspension in November by the FIFA Ethics Committee following cash  for votes scandal in the build up to the World Cup 2018 and 2022 votes.

But the Nigerian, who also faces investigation by Nigeria’s anti corruption agency, EFCC says he  expects to get a fair hearing, and ultimately, vindication.

“I don’t want to say too much about the appeal but I know I’ll get a fair hearing,” Adamu said. It  is important that I clear my name in this matter and I believe that will be done at the meeting.”
