Cyril Bamidele Alele a.k.a. Admiral Dele Abiodun was this morning re-elected as the  President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN.
Abiodun defeated Predy Wyse by 45 voters to 26 at the election held at Gaza Hotel,  Oshogbo, Osun State.
However, there was a minor change in the new executive as Ultimate Murphy defeated  David Lawson to become the first Vice President of the association.
Others that were elected are King Femi Opalemo as second Vice President, Samuel B as  Treasurer and seven ex-officio members namely Alhaji Demola, Young Ade, Chief Olu  Daton, King Femi Ariyo Chief Oriowo, Ita Bonny and Chief Segun Alladey.
Before the election, the 11th Biennial Delegates Conference was declared open by the  Governor of Osun State, Engineer Rauf Aregbesola, supported by the King of World  Beat, Otunba Sunday Ishola Adeniyi Adegeye a.k.a. King Sunny Ade, Chief Tony Okoroji  and others.
While delivering his speech, Aregbesola enjoined members of the association to be  creative and help fight against electoral fraud.
He also promised to help them fight against music pirates, among other things.
