The Delta State Chapter of National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has honoured the weird one, Charles Oputa, a.k.a. Charly Boy as the most outstanding entertainer.
The students’ body in a statement claimed that the award was necessary owing to the roles Charly Boy has played towards the advancement of the entertainment industry. While buttressing their point, the NANS president, Comrade Lucky Emonefe of the University of Benin stated that Charly Boy’s numerous role in the entertainment industry cannot be quantified.
The students equally asserted that Charly Boy had empowered hundreds of Nigerian youths through his annual event tagged Charlyboy show-live.
Expressing his gratitude to the students over their benevolence, the Area Father, as Charly Boy is popularly called, promised that more would still come from him as far as the transformation of the entertainment industry is concerned.
