Youths in Ifako-Ijaiye LCDA, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria have declared support for Otunba Michael Yomi Ogunnusi in the forthcoming general elections.
The youths made this declaration after the ACN primaries in Lagos State in which Otunba Ogunnusi emerged ACN candidate for House of Representatives in Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency.
Ogunnusi was hailed by the youths of Ifako-Ijaiye who described his philanthropy as second to none. They promised to back him because of his contributions and support for security initiatives and educational advancement of the youths in Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency and in Lagos State in general, especially provision of boreholes in his constituency assistance in road maintenance, security and scholarship awards to his people.
Also traditional rulers in the constituency also trooped out to show solidarity for Otunba Ogunnusi. They said apart from his contributions in the Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency, he still remains the right and only candidate that will represent the constituency well and bring dividends of democracy to their doorstep.
“We the Ifako-Ijaiye indigenes and non-indigenes are solely supporting and behind Otunba Ogunnusi for the House of Representatives in Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency,” Shina Owolabi, one of the youths said.
