The elections are scheduled to hold on 3, February at the Nigeria Institute for Sports, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos State.
The three candidates vying for the chairman seat are chairman of Alade Soccer Academy, Prince Tunde Alade, coach of Weekend Soccer Academy, Oluwole Santana and Uche Umeh, team manager of Elegant Football Academy.
The three candidates have begun their campaign ahead of the elections, but some of the coaches and club owners who spoke to GSG on anonymity said that all of them have equal chances to win the elections, while others believed that Prince Alade has what it takes to become the next chairman of the association.
For the position of secretary, Semiu Popoola of Ultimate Academy and David Okoh of Real United will slug it out next Thursday.
Chairman, Electoral Committee, Saturday Okon, confirmed to GSG that all the candidates have started campaigning, but warned them to desist from campaign of calumny, which may bring the image of the association into disrepute.
