Alliance Autos, sole representative of Nissan and Renault brand of vehicles in Nigeria has reiterated its effort to provide quality vehicles for its teeming customers nationwide as the company sets in motion strategies to reposition for a greater 2011 by introducing new models from Nissan and Renault for more market share in their various segments.
Meeting with auto journalists for the first time since he assumed office, the Managing Director, Mr Ian Middleton said the company’s performance in 2010 was better than that of 2009.
“Looking back at 2010 we won’t say it was a fantastic year but it was better than 2009.â€
Middleton, however, said 2011 is an ambitious year for Alliance Autos with the introduction of more Renault models.
He assured that that new Renault models that are about to be introduced into the Nigerian market were built to withstand the Nigerian environment and road conditions.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Group Managing Director of CFAO, Mr James Ducan disclosed that the Group is setting up a state of the art showroom and workshop in Abuja to meet the needs of their customers. According to him the group will be involved in aggressive marketing of the models this year, noting that the firm’s re-organisation last year was aimed at serving the customer better.
Alliance Autos is a member of the CFAO group which controls over seven brands of vehicles in Nigeria.
