Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Ebele Obi is set to return from an injury that halted his performance on the third day of the league.

Obi suffered an injury when Rangers entertained Ocean Boys and was replaced by the team’s second choice goalkeeper, Uche Okafor.

The elder brother of Chelsea star, Mikel, has not been in goal since the match day three injury.

Okafor, a former junior international has been in goal for the ‘Flying Antelopes’ till date.

“I have resumed training and should return to action very soon. The injury kept me away for a long time, but I’m glad to be back” he said.

Obi will not have his position back easily as Okafor has been brilliant for the Enugu side.

Rangers picked their first point on the road at Niger Tornadoes last Saturday.

Before the match at Tornadoes, Rangers failed to make any meaningful impact in their previous matches on the road.
