Chairman of Ifedapo Community Development Association, Ward 1, Surulere, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, Comrade Olumide Campbell, has appealed to eligible residents to come out and register in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
Campbell made the call during a rally organised by the association to sensitise the community on the exercise.
The Chairman and other executives of the association took to the major streets within the community, carrying banners and leaflets which they distributed to members of the public and telling them of the significance of the exercise.
The rally started at the former Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) headquarters in Yaba and took the participants to more than 30 streets in Surulere. Places visited include Olajuwon, Ajibode, Yaba market, Nathan streets and Ojuelegba road.
