Nigerian wrestlers have continued to mourn the passing away of  Samuel Olabanji Dada a.k.a Captain Killer, who died in Lagos on 4 January at the age of 63.

Two of the wrestlers, Alhaji Hammed Mohammed, a.k.a Prince H.O. and Godspower Ekpede a.k.a Power Lee told P.M.Sports that stakeholders in the Nigerian professional wrestling will miss the late Captain Killer, who contributed to the development of  the sport in the country.

According to Prince H.O, who is the coordinator of the BRF Wrestlemania Championship, “Captain Killer did his best to ensure that wrestling was not relegated to the background in the country during his life time. After retirement from the ring, Captain Killer was a teacher of high repute. He was a counsellor who we will all miss. May his soul rest in peace”.

The current National Heavyweight champion, Power Lee, said Captain Killer, the undisputed Commonwealth Heavyweight champion, “was a father, brother and friend to me. He was someone I hold to a high esteem and I respect him so much. “I was shocked when I heard about the death of Captain Killer. It was so painful. There is no doubt that we’ll all miss him because he was a motivator who commanded respect among Nigerian wrestlers.”
