Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi have admitted that Dolphins were the better side in their 1-0 defeat in Week 12 duel played at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt, last weekend.

The coach John Zaki tutored lads are 16th on the log with 11 points.

Spokesman of the Makurdi side, Atom Tokula told SuperSport.com that Dolphins deserved their hard-earned victory, blaming their defence for the slim defeat.

“We lost to clumsy defensive error; Dolphin were clearly the better side and deserved to win the encounter.”

However, Tokula is upbeat that they would make up the loss when Ocean Boys visit for the Week 13 tie billed for the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi this weekend.

“We will win but not by foul means, there is no how Ocean Boys will escape defeat in Makurdi.”

Tokula who is not happy with Lobi position on the league table explained that the team’s fortune will improve once they play all their outstanding matches.

“Our position on the league is shakin, though we have two outstanding matches and both of them at home. One is against JUTH and the other is against Kano Pillars. We will try and  win the matches. With six points our position will improve,” he said.
