The year 2010 was not too good for the club. I don’t want to blame my players for the our average performance but to simply  say we were unlucky  last year.

So, what are your expectations this year?
We are targeting two trophies this year. I want to put what we encountered last year behind me and look forward on how to achieve our programmes this year.

Which  competitions do you believe  God’s Favour FC can win this year?
Our target is to win Boska Cup and Jesus Cup, and we also hope to win some high profile competitions.

You will be competing for Boska Cup as newcomers, don’t you think it will be difficult for your team to win the tournament at the expenses of big clubs?
Let me be frank with you, we are coming to the competition with a strong determination to win   the cup.  A lot of people may say  doubt this but I am optimistic. I have a strong team that can shock the big clubs.

A lot of clubs have started preparing for the Lagos State Challenge Cup, what about  your team?
We have started preparing for the Lagos FA Cup. We have played tune up matches to keep the players fit. Very soon, we will go to Benin Republic for  training. We need to expose the players by engaging them in some friendlies in Benin Republic ahead of big competitions.
