Mr. Ayodele Bolaji, an employee of a Lagos-based oil company on Monday stunned an Ikeja High Court with the allegation that his wife and her mother conspired  to kill him in order to take over his property.

Bolaji who was seeking for the dissolution of his four-year old marriage to Aderinsola, described her as a wicked and greedy person.

The petitioner said their marriage, which was solemnized on May 5, 2006 had failed to produce any child, adding that this contributed to their problems as a  couple.

He further told the court that they stopped co-habiting as man and wife barely two years into their marriage because of the attitude and character of the  respondent.

Bolaji said: “After she had left my house, one day some policemen came to arrest me on the orders of her mother.

“I was taken to Ibadan and chained in a large room for forty days. They were actually out to kill me and take over my property but I told them that I have  already made a will which was with my lawyer.”
