A financial consultant and Managing Director of Nnestor Telecommunications Nigeria Limited, Abdulrasak Sanusi, has cried out to the Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim, over what he described as threat to his life by some people he identified as shareholders in the company.

Apart from this, Mr. Sanusi is also praying a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja, the state capital to restrict Otunba Akibu Okanlawon Sabiu, Prince Taiye Oyekan, Mr. Waidi Bankole and Mr. Abiodun Seriki, from intimidating him.

He is asking the court to stop the respondents from further destroying his property, adding that these respondents have allegedly been using the law enforcement agents to carry out these actions.

The Managing Director told the court that the respondents were attempting to assassinate him using some unknown gun men who stormed his house in Oshodi area of the state, just as he told the court that the respondents had ensured that his transactions with the official bank of the company was stopped.

He said trouble started when he was engaged as a consultant to act on behalf of the Water Corporation Board by the Nigerian Army and he got the job in the name of his company, even before the company was incorporated.

When the Nigerian Army finally paid his dues to the company, the shareholders got angry and accused him of withdrawing money in excess of N100 million from the company account without recourse to them.

After this, he said he was unlawfully arrested by the police and charged with stealing among other charges.

He is now seeking the court to nullify the allegations against him while urging the court to order the payment of N100 million to him as aggravated damages for the violation of the applicant’s rights.
