Aggrieved members of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Friday stormed the residence of the party’s leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Bourdilion Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, South West Nigeria to protest the outcome of the primaries held at the party’s secretariat.

The protesting ACN supporters in their hundreds condemned the alleged imposition of an unpopular candidate, Hon. Kolapo Osunsanya who did not contest for Constituency1, Ikoyi, State House of Assembly primary in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area.

The protesters claimed Hon. Gbolahan Olusegun Ishaq won the primary with a landslide victory.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi, spokesperson of the protesters, Mrs. Florence Tobi, a.k.a. Iya Omo, explained that eight aspirants collected the nomination forms and were screened.

Describing the imposition as undemocratic, Mrs. Tobi said the group came to meet Asiwaju Tinubu because they know him to be a democrat and a fighter for the oppressed who will use his good offices to reverse the anomaly.
