Ignore Radio Announcement —Benue ACN

The Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Benue State, has dissociated itself from a purported list of successful candidates in its primaries held on Wedneday, 12 January 2011 aired on Radio Benue shortly after the state primaries .

The angry state executive committee described the development as the handiwork of mischievous and self-centered elements in the state.

Reacting swiftly to the radio announcement, the state chairman of the party, Comrade Abba Yaro in a press release on Thursday in Makurdi described the action as a desperate attempt by some few persons in the state to cause confusion in the party.

He therefore urged members of the public to disregard the announcement

He added that the authentic list of successful candidates of the party has been forwarded to the National Secretariat of the party for onward submission to INEC and will be released soon to the public.
