The strike, which will commence on Saturday 15 January and end Monday, 17 January, 2011, according to the chairman, “is not politically motivated but rather  to protest against the increase in the prices of al baking ingredients.”

He appealed to all bread consumers in Lagos to bear with bakers.  He also announced the increase in the prices of bread.

Adejorin implored all bakers to comply with the directive in the interest of baking business, particularly in Lagos State.
