Members of the Board of Trustees of  Lagos State chapter of the Video Club Owners Association of Nigeria (VCOAN) headed by Moses Adebusuyi, has removed its  chairman, Balogun Ajayi Martins a.k.a. BAM.

P.M. Entertainment learnt that Martins was removed for an alleged financial misappropriation.

Investigations revealed that his removal is sequel to the non satisfactory answer to a query dated 6,7 and 8 December, 2010 and was therefore asked to step  aside and stop parading himself as the Lagos VCOAN boss.

Meanwhile, the vice chairman, Udoh Emeh Marshal of Marshal Video Club, has been elevated to the position of the chairman pending the outcome of the  independent panel of enquiry set up to look into the allegations.

Marshal was appointed by a letter dated 16 December, 2010 with copies sent to members of VCOAN South West, chairman, Independent Body of Enquiry, Lagos State  Tradesmen and Artisans and the General Secretary, Lagos VCOAN.

Reacting to the development, Balogun Ajayi Martins denied his purported removal, saying it is a rumour.

“I still presided over the executive meeting and I am still in charge,” he said.
