Superstory, the multiple award-winning TV drama series and Papa Ajasco & Company, Nigeria’s most watched TV comedy programme, both from the stable of Wale Adenuga Productions, are currently making waves in Ghana.
According to Wale Adenuga (MFR), chairman of the popular TV production company, the demand for the two programmes in Ghana became so overwhelming that we had no choice but to acquire air time on Ghana Television (GTV), the only station with national coverage in Ghana, to air the programmes from October 2010.
“We feel elated that within a spate of three months, the programmes have recorded such an incredible viewership that corporate bodies based in Ghana now see them as very effective platform for airing their commercials.
“Our programmes are doing great in several countries outside Nigeria, to the glory of God and we plan to generate even more in the new year; thanks to our teeming viewership and the invaluable support of our advertisers,†Adenuga enthused.
