Sex is a universal topic among men, women, young and old. Married or not, sex plays an important role in fostering a relationship. And where the scale is not balanced, then anything can happen.
Ijeoma is a young orphan of Hausa and Calabar parentage. To escape the pangs of poverty and loneliness in her gradmother’s land, she seeks to get married to a fine young man. However, problem is that she is not easily satisfied in bed. Her libido is so strong that men must get to their limit or break their waist in the process of trying to satisfy her. She becomes a lone champion in the battle of the sexes as men who pick up the gaunlet end up with broken waist.
The village dibia (native doctor) interpretes their waist ailement as an act of the god’s punishment for neglecting their worship. The Igwe thereby gives a warning to the effect that nobody in the village worships anywhere else apart from the dibia shrine.
The women folk reacts by declaring war on Ijeoma, who they believe is the cause of their sons’ and husbands’ waist ailment.
Ijeoma is chased out of the village as an agent of evil influence, she comes to Lagos to continue her search for a peaceful home and satisfaction of her libido.
Will she get fulfilment in Lagos or not? Only German Machine can answer this question.
German Machine is a comedy full of intrigues and comic situations tempered with suspense. The language is a blend of both pidgin and good English sparsely interlaced with everyday Igbo.
Prominent among tested actors and actresses in the film are Emeka Ani, Florence Onumah, Ashley Nwosu, Ben Nwosu, Christy Okoronkwo, “Rodondon†Chidi Okafor, Val and others. These stars complement the efforts of vibrant upcoming acts like Desmond Shephard, Ajibade Omisade, Susan Aronu, Manfred Uche, George Ogwurumba, Clement Edwards, Victoria Nene, Juliana Ilabereneme and others.
