The Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organization has congratulated Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the victory of Uduaghan at Delta state gubernatorial rerun election.
A statement from the campaign office said that the declaration by INEC that Uduaghan won in 14 local government areas out of the 25 local government areas in the state is a clear testimony of his acceptability to the people of the state.
According to the statement, Uduaghan’s re-election demonstrates his acceptability as he was able to carry the people of Delta State along before the voiding of his election by the court.
“After a thorough and a herculean process for you and our great party, you have been able to convince all Doubting Thomases that you are a man of the people who loves their progress. Your work has spoken for you in the re-run election and you have proved to the people that good things are on their way again.â€
It urged losers in the election to join hands with the governor in working assiduously for the progress and development of the state.
