Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Kosofe constituency, Bayo Osinowo, has appealed to youths in the state to be more proactive in this political dispensation.
Osinowo gave this advice at the end of year party and special prayers organised by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Mandate Mobilization Organization (BATMOO), in Lagos.
Osinowo who was represented by Prince Busayo Adebayo said the youths remain the foot soldiers of every political success and promised to consider them in his scheme of things.
The coordinator of the Kosofe Local Government chapter of the group, Comrade Wole Mayegun, identified the functions of the group to include clearing of drainage channels; cleaning of market squares and major streets; reconciling and bringing back members of the Action Congress of Nigeria that have left the party for another.
Mayegun said the achievements of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos made the group to immortalise him with the name. He described the former governor of Lagos State as a living legend.
He promised that the group would work assiduously to ensure that the ACN defeated other political parties in this year’s general elections, especially in Kosofe Local Government.
