A party leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, has declared that he will never have anything to do with the People’s Democratic party, PDP as being  rumoured.

Engineer Abiodun Adeseye, Action Congress of Nigeria leader in Ward 1, Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria, made this declaration at a press conference yesterday,  while reacting to the rumour that he had been interacting with the PDP.

“I have been principal officer of the ACN for five years and I am 70 years old. How could any sane man think at my level that I will leave a winning party to  work for a losing party. I will rather be a messenger in the corridors of power than be the chairman of a losing party,” he said.

Adeseye said ever since he joined the party, he had made sure that opposition parties, especially the PDP, do not secure even up to 20 per cent of the total  votes in Surulere Constituency, and that his Ward F 1 polling booth had always recorded higher ACN votes.

He also promised that as a loyalist of the party, he would ensure that the Action Congress of Nigeria will score the highest votes in the coming elections.
