We’ll Mobilise Nigerians For 2011 Polls —Pastor Bakare

Convener of the Save Nigeria Group, SNG, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has assured that his group will mobilise Nigerians to participate fully in the 2011 polls.

In a telephone conversation with P.M.NEWS yesterday, Bakare who is also the presiding cleric of the Akilo, Ogba-based Latter Rain Assembly, said the role of  his group is to mobilise Nigerians to register during the voters’ registration exercise in January and participate in the elections.

“Our role is to mobilise and educate the people to participate in the INEC registration exercise and ensure that they vote in the elections,” he said.

Pastor Bakare also restated his stand on the crisis rocking the Ogun State House of Assembly, saying: “What happened in Ogun State on 6 September is a  violation of parliamentary democracy whereby the minority overthrew the majority.”
