The publisher of a newspaper, Mr. Andy Moore, has called on Nigerians not to kill the country’s cultural heritage.
Moore stated this in Okota, Lagos, southwest, Nigeria during the launching of a cultural dance by Umudara Emenahi Progressive Union, Ukpor, Anambra State, Lagos chapter.
He said that Africa including Nigeria has a good cultural heritage and appealed to all not to allow it to die because of western education.
He said Nigerians should always ensure they preserve the cultural heritage so that it will not die
The group organised the cultural dance in order to preserve its culture here in Lagos.
The event attracted all the prominent indigenes of the community, within and outside the state.
The chairman of the occasion, Mr. Pius Ujubonu (Ozodinobi), emphasized the importance of displaying such cultural dance, saying that it brings unity among the people for rapid development.
The chairman of the group, Barrister Hycient Maduagwu, commended the efforts of the people for making the event a success.
He noted that the dance has helped to unit the indigenes in the state.
