A Lagos High Court presided over by Hon. Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighile has ordered that Moroof Aremu Owonla a.k.a. Kaka should stop parading himself as Baale of Candos/Asipa or any other place, village or community in Ayobo town in Alimosho local government area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, pending the determination of the motion on notice.
In a three-page exparte motion in suit No ID/1708/10 dated 15 December, 2010 filed on behalf of Oba Arole Idowu Ojo-Ijo by Barrister Lanrewaju Momodu, the monarch for himself and on behalf of all members of Alori Ataye Ewuwunmi Kadunmisha Chieftaincy Family of Kibo Ilogbo and their customary tenants seeking the order of the court to stop Moroof Aremu Owonla over his purported installation as Baale of Candos Ashipa and stop henceforth parading himself pendind the detrermination of the motion on notice.
An order of interim injunction also restrained the defendant whether by himself, agents, privies, or whosoever acting on his authority or in concert with him, from conferring any chieftaincy title on Rasheed Idowu or anybody whosoever in Ayobo town in Alimosho local government area of Lagos State or organising any form of coronation ceremony on Saturday at anytime whatsoever in that regard pending the determination of the motion on notice in this matter.
