A member of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Hon. Bamidele Aderonmu, has declared intention to represent Surulere II Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
Speaking in Lagos, he said his intention was to use the platform to give true meaning to representation.
According to him, despite the opportunities offered by public office, most of their occupiers have failed to use them to affect their people positively.
This, Aderonmu, who was a special assistant to a former House of Representatives member in the last dispensation, said was unthinkable.
Specifically, the ACN chieftain who promised to run an unparalleled administration in the history of Surulere II Federal Constituency, promised to put the people first at all times.
According to him, having traversed the length and breadth of the National Assembly, he intends to bring his wealth of experience to bear on his constituency.
Specifically, the Reps aspirant promised to employ forty liaison officers within three months as part of strategies to reach to the nooks and crannies of his constituency.
This, he opined, was a sure way of reducing poverty and creating wealth among the people.
Aderonmu hinged this on the fact that these liaison officers will fast track his promises of students sponsorship, health agenda and economic empowerment.
According to him, Surulere II constituents should be assured of having adequate representation in matters concerning them, as their voice will be heard this time around.
