A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Abdul Wahab Olawale Alawiye-King,  has condemned in strong terms, the alleged attempt by some people to silence one of  the leaders of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and immediate past governor of Lagos  State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Reacting to a report alleging that some people were making secret and dangerour  moves to employ the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to intimidate him as  well as compromise his security to expose his life to danger, the lawmaker  representing Lagos Island Constituency 2 in the House, said such plan will not  succeed.

According to him, Tinubu, as a political leader, has remained a force to reckon with  in the nation’s politics and any plan to stop him would amount to stopping the  progressives’ train, adding that such plan will be in futility.
