Deen Star Table Tennis Club will hold its 40th anniversay with a ‘closed’ tournament on Sunday.
Deen Star, a club where budding talents are discovered and groomed at the grassroots, is owned by Tajudeen Olaniyi Onitana.
Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola is expected to be the Guest of Honour at the one-day tournament on Sunday, while dignitaries like the Deputy Governor, Sarah Sosan, Sports Commissioner, Prince Adeniji Adele and Commissioner for Information, Opeyemi Bamidele are some of the guests expected to grace the event scheduled to take place at Epetedo in Lagos Island.
Onitana told P.M.Sports that the 40th anniversary of Deen Star will be a memorable event.
