Orlando Pirates’ Nigerian forward Ezenwa Otorogu cannot wait to take to the field for the Telkom Knockout final.
Bucs are all set to face bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the final at the FNB Stadium in South Africa on Saturday night.
There is a lot at stake in Jozi and Otorogu is ready for the challenge that Amakhosi will bring to the pitch.
“Look, I revel in the big matches. This was the case when I played for Enyimba in  Nigeria,” the Nigerian told the club’s official website.
“The match against Chiefs is big and I am looking forward to it. I always want to win against them (Chiefs) and so do my teammates.
“Chiefs are our rivals and we always want to do better than them, and the fact that this is a final makes the desire even greater.”
Of late, Otorogu has started to prove his worth to the team and the burly forward is proud of what he has achieved so far and is eager to push on even further.
“I am very happy with my current form. Winning the man of the match award at the weekend against Martizburg United was particularly pleasing because it shows that my efforts have been recognised,” he said.
“I am happy with my contribution in the team so far and I wish I can continue with this form in the final against Chiefs.
“As a striker it is my duty to score goals for the club, but I won’t be putting myself under any unnecessary pressure by declaring that I will score against Chiefs on Saturday,” he added.
“The only thing I will guarantee is that I will give my all to help the club lift the trophy.”
The match at the FNB Stadium is officially a sell-out.
