However, Chairman, Lagos State Volleyball Association, Chief Owolabi Martins, was unhappy that his male team failed to book a place in the sports festival, which holds in Rivers State.

Martins said he would have loved to see both male and female teams  qualify for the Volleyball event in the Zonal Elimination.

“I am not happy because our male team did not qualify for the festival. We prepared well but it’s unfortunate that the host state was hostile to us during the qualifiers,” he said.
