Lagos Central Council President, Catherine Membu for the next one year would be heading Lagos Metro in an acting capacity.
Ms membu was selected to head the council after its President, Bisi Lawal elected into office on 12 October, 2007 bowed out of office.
Membu while accepting the position appealed to the former president fondly called ‘Baba’ to lend a helping hand, to always be by her side especially in the area of administration as she now combines Lagos Central Council with that of Metro.
