After inspiring the Super Falcons of Nigeria to reach the semi final of the 2010 CAF African Women Championship, AWC yesterday, prolific scorer, Perpetua Nkwocha says her target is to lift the golden boot.
Nkwocha, who netted two of Nigeria’s three goals against Tanzania in their last group match in South Africa yesterday said: “I missed the golden boot two years ago because I couldn’t score, but things have changed now.
“I will help my teammates to get to the final of this year’s edition, win the cup for our dear country, Nigeria and go home with the golden boot.â€
Nkwocha, scored three goals in Falcon’s opening match against Mali, scored two against hosts, Banyana Banyana and increased her goal tally to seven with the brace she netted against Tanzania.
Meanwhile, Falcons’ Chief Coach, Eucharia Uche has praised Nkwocha and her teammates for qualifying for the semi final of the competition.
