The police in Aguda Police Station, in Lagos State, Nigeria, have arrested two armed robbery suspects operating with a dummy gun at 37A, Nuruoniwo Street, Aguda.
The suspects, Ebere Obasi and Ebere Okeke were said to be robbing their victims when a distress call was put across to the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Aguda Police Station who immediately mobilised his anti-robbery team to the scene.
The police team arrested the duo.
During interrogation, police discovered that the robbers were operating with a dummy gun and they also have in their possession one plastic bottle filled with acid, one hammer and a jack-knife.
The two suspects were taken to the Aguda Police Station for preliminary investigation and later transferred to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos where they are currently helping the police in their investigation.
