We held the party for him as a way of  appreciating his good work and also to encourage his colleagues to emulate him and  do better. We have been able to achieve a lot because of the hard work of the  present rank and file in the command including the retiring Akande.”

According to ASP Lekan Ogundare, the PPRO, FSARS, DSP Akande was a professional  police officer worth emulating. “We decided to give him back the good service he  rendered to the FSARS.”
