Youth Group Commends Mamora, Others

Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora, Hon. Wole Diya and Hon. Lateef Abiru have been commended for their contribution to the development of the country and Lagos State.

The Lagos Youth Coalition, an off-shoot of Koro’s Youth Group, made the commendation in Lagos, Nigeria, during its conference recently.

Comrade Taiwo Abdullahi, the founder and national co-ordinator of the group said the group chose Hon. Lateef Abiru, representing Shomolu constituency 2, Lagos State House of Assembly, for empowering over 120 youths with computer training in Lagos State, and Hon. Wole Diya, representing the state at House of Representative, for his series of empowerment programmes for the people of his constituency.

Senator Mamora, representative of Lagos East Senatorial District, was chosen for the transformation he brought to some areas of the state. The group promised to continue to support the lawmakers in their political aspiration.

Abdullahi used the occasion to call on all Lagosians to give their total support to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, in his bid for a second term in office, especially in his quest to actualise the mega-city dream.
