A Lagos-based management consultant, Mr. Gboyega Adejumo, has lost over N20m worth of property to a mysterious fire which gutted his house at 15, Ajumobi Street, off Acme Road, Ogba, Lagos State.
Adejumo told P.M.NEWS that he was not at home when the fire started and could not identify the cause.
He explained that he took his mother-in-law who was travelling to Benin, Edo State, to the local airport at Ikeja when he was called that his residence was on fire.
“I left my house around 11a.m and I was called around 1133a.m. that my house was on fire. I called the Lagos State emergency number and they responded.
”My documents, my children’s documents, my electronics, my wife’s properties and many other things worth millions of naira are all gone. I don’t even know where I and my family will sleep tonight,†he said.
No life was lost in the fire incident as there was nobody in the house at the time.
