LG Boss Tasked Over Dev

Residents of Ilogbo Eremi in Olorunda local Council Development Area of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, have scored the council boss, Amida Abudu, low in the area of infrastructure development.

According to a market leader in Ilogbo Oja Oba Agbokejoye, Chief Nurudeen Oyerinde Asade, since the council chairman assumed office, he has not initiated any meaningful project in the community, saying no one could point at any significant project executed by the council.

He stated that Ilogbo Eremi has not reaped any dividend of democracy as the whole area is almost submerged by flood due to bad road and lack of drainage system.

He also lamented non provision of primary health centre, public toilet, rural electricity and community hall, among others, noting that the council generates huge amount of money as tax and other levies from the community and ought to, at least, reciprocate the good gesture by giving it a face lift.

While appealing to the council boss to pay more attention to the development of Ilogbo Eremi community, most especially, the only major market in the area, with the provision of basic social amenities.
