Councillors in Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, have passed a vote of confidence on the council boss, Dr. Adesola Samuel Adedayo.

They passed the vote during an inspection of a four-storey building to serve as the council’s secretariat which is under construction.

Mr. Bosim Bello, leader of the Legislative Arm of the council, who led other councillors on the inspection tour commended the chairman, saying “he has been spending the money budgeted for the project judiciously without diverting it on other projects. This is the first time in the history of this council that a chairman will construct roads and drainage channels, fix street lights, provide free health services, give free uniforms and other school materials to pupils, etc.
