Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State has been urged to intervene in the simmering intra-communal crisis presently rocking Ayobo and Ipaja towns in Alimosho Local Government Area of the state.

Making this plea when he led a delegation of his chiefs to P.M.NEWS corporate headquarters on Acme Road, Ikeja, Baale of Baruwa Town, Alhaji Halid Baruwa, called on the governor to stem the threat to lives and property in the area by some hoodlums called ‘palace boys’ who are terrorising residents and destroying their property.

“We are here to draw Governor Fashola’s attention to the activities of one Prince Moroof Aremu  Owonla Kaka, a self acclaimed oba-elect. We don’t recognise him in our domain and he has been using thugs to terrorise residents,” Alhaji Baruwa stated.

He called on the state governor to call a town hall meeting in Ayobo and Ipaja to know the feelings of residents towards the crisis rocking the area.

“We want the governor to call a stakeholders’ meeting on Ayobo- Ipaja to know what is happening and reseolve the lingering crisis which had led to loss of lives and properties,” the Baruwa monarch pleaded.
