Glo Subscribers Can Now Recharge With ATM Cards

Subscribers of mobile telecommunications giant, Glo Mobile can now recharge their lines via Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and Point Of Sale (POS) machines across the country through a new service called Glo quick-CHARGE.

In a release signed by Glo’s head of Marketing, Mr. Navdeep Kapur, Glo has connected the Glo quick-CHARGE Service to all the ATMs of 24 Banks through Inter-Switch.

The integration will give Glo Subscribers an opportunity to conveniently purchase recharge airtime 24 hours from all the existing Interswitch point of sales (POS) machines nationwide.

In addition, the operator is giving out up to 20% bonus of airtime to pre-paid subscribers who use the ATM or POS recharge option.

As soon as you recharge from an ATM or POS machine, you immediately receive an extra percentage on top of whatever amount of airtime you have purchased. “The minimum you can get is 5% while, if you are a pre-paid customer, you may receive up to 20% for higher amounts of recharge”. Kapur explained.

Kapur stated that the ATM/POS recharge was designed to provide ease of access, 24 hours access, and give subscribers different options to re-charge their accounts. “With the new recharge option the customer’s phone is always recharged without transaction fees, no scratching of cards and no stress at all” Kapur explained.

Apart from the ATM/POS recharge windows, other recharge options like cards and e-pin are still fully available.

He added that Glo Mobile is a people-sensitive telecommunications company always looking for opportunity to make things easier for subscribers and ready to empower them.

It may be recalled that Glo had recently released a series of rebranded recharge cards bearing the images of its Nollywood ambassadors, such as Ini Edo, P-Square, Ramsey Noah, Yakubu Mohamed Basket Mouth etc.
